We are happy to undertake insurance quotations subject to a min payment of £600 plus VAT, damage assessment fee (applies only within a 5-mile radius to our office).
Depending on the type of work and admin time involved in preparing the quotation, this fee can increase and we will notify you if this is likely to be the case from our initial site visit.
A trained member of staff will contact you to arrange for an on-site visit to assess the works involved along with other relevant factors that would have to be taken into account for conducting the works to our standard.
Once a proper site visit is concluded, we will send out a detailed quotation to you for you to send to your insurers; this can take anything up to 45 days due to COVID backlogs.
Most types of domestic insurance quotations usually fit within the min charge bracket; if however, this is not likely to be the case due to the extent of the damage, then you would be put on notice that an increased charge is likely to be the case and what that additional cost would be; for which we would expect any such increase to be settled prior to receiving the completed quotation.
REFUND OF FEES
We are happy to refund by way of an invoice deduction for 50% of the quotation fee upon successful instruction being formerly given to us to carry out the necessary works according to our own specifications within the said quote.
